America Needs You!!!

I want everyone to realize that God & America needs you right now, every single one of you who profess to be Christians. You may sit out there and say it’s not my place to make a difference while all these other groups are taking a stand because they are united for what they believe. They are changing things and rewriting our history while we as Christians are losing our rights. It’s time for the Christians and true believers to stand up and unite as one. We need to forget the stupid religious barriers!!

For years now, the religions that profess to love Jesus Christ have all been fighting against each other so much that all these other groups have made their leeway and what was right has become wrong and what was wrong has become right. To me something is wrong with that picture. Who is really to blame? You and me, that’s who!! The Christians of America who sit back and do nothing, but show up at church on Sunday to fill a space in the pews in their fancy dresses and expensive ties and gossip about everyone else. Maybe they should take a real honest look at themselves in the mirror before throwing stones at anyone else, because God says that a gossiper’s tongue is the devil’s playground.

You might say what can I do, but I pose the real question, what are you willing to do?!! Are you willing to die for Christ? Well the good thing is we don’t have to risk our lives like some Christians do when they stand up in other countries. So tell me what’s our excuse?!! Just plain fear that’s what!! But as 2 Timothy 1:7 – says: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. What are you afraid of? Are you so worried about what other people think that it doesn’t really matter what God thinks of you? We already have too many closet Christians that are so weak minded that they listen to society and forget what God has to say. It reminds me of a poem called

I know that I can’t change the world by myself and I am not trying to, but that gives me no excuse not to do something even if it’s a small task.!! Like a quote by Helen Keller says:

I am only one, but still I am one.
I cannot do everything, but I can do something.
Just because I cannot do everything,
I will not refuse to do the something I can do.

God doesn’t expect us to be perfect because no one is, but he does expect us to stand up and not be ashamed of him. He sent his only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for all of us. What have you done for him lately? Anything? God’s gift to us is who we are, but our gift back to God is who we become. Do you really think that God wants his people to just exist and do nothing but work, go to church, sleep, and go through the motions? I don’t think so!! The devil’s number 1 tool isn’t an active sinner like most believe but an inactive Christian!! When are you going to stand up and do something? Tomorrow? When it’s too late? When is enough, enough?? The time is now, not tomorrow, but now!! Now is your time to make a difference and anyone of you can make a difference!!!
